Traditional Métis Beading (Part 2) Pouch Making- Exploring Métis Tradition & Culture

On Saturday, March 12 and 19 at 10 am; join a Traditional Métis Beading Workshop. In this two-part workshop, learn the history of the Flower Beadwork People. Métis Artist, Tekeyla Friday will demonstrate traditional Métis flower beading patterns and show participants this method of beading on leather. Families will work together to bead and create their own pouches. These programs are for ages 10 and up. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited so register early.
