Join Grandmothers and Others for Change at the Swift Current Branch Library for the Book Tour of Powered by Love: A Grandmothers’ Movement to End AIDS in Africa on Wednesday, October 25 at 7pm. This book draws on hundreds of interviews with grandmothers in sub-Sahara Africa, Canada and the UK. These stories and pictures help people to understand the tremendous impact the grandmothers are having worldwide and how this movement started. Meet the African grandmothers and representatives from the Stephen Lewis Foundation.
